Food was great but they did get 15 minutes behind on my pickup even when they messaged me that it was ready. alas the food was yummy so we shall forgive them

I've come here for years - a great local spot. Skip the steak and focus on falafel, chicken kebab or chicken shawarma are my top picks. They usually give you a yummy bowl of pickled vegetables when you eat-in. You can also order them if you order pick-up. The Moroccan fried chicken is the star of the appetizers followed by the broccoli and brussel sprouts. You pretty much can't miss. It's a cute spot to enjoy with friends or family. I went big and got a chocolate almond tahini shake. Just as delicious as it looks. Tastes like a chocolate milkshake.

I enjoyed my recent meal here! The falafel plate was solid, but the sides are where Mizlala really shined. I loved the grilled cauliflower and brussel sprouts. I'd rate the food + ambiance as a big step up from strip mall or chain Mediterranean restaurants that are everywhere in the valley, like California Pita Kitchen, but it's still casual enough to take kids here (and they have high chairs). It's not fine dining, and that's a plus in my book. The front of the restaurant is the entrance to the highway, so you have to enter from the back. And the back is all city of LA parking. It's $1/hour.

Delicious as always. Lucky to find parking in the back at 7pm on Thursday. The menu is simple, there aren't endless options and I appreciate that. We got served and seated right away at the three tables left open at the time. It does get quite busy so just be ready to wait. The food came out quickly, was hot, fresh, and delicious. My friend and I got the shawarma plate each and it was perfection.

Ordered takeout here and it had been awhile. The last time or two, the dishes were not consistent so took a break. Glad to be back as this last experience was as good as we remember. Still sad that some items from their previous menu have disappeared but there is still plenty to love. We had: lamb merguez pita chicken shawarma pita chicken parygot pita hen of the woods cauliflower broccolli hummus tzatziki baba ghanoush The pitas were HUGE and absolutely stuffed with meat, herbs, pickles. SO MUCH FLAVOR. The vegetable dishes SHINE with intricate sauces that match each one. Although they are pricey relative to the sandwiches, they take technique and time and are not to be missed. The smoke, char and layers of flavor they achieve on all of their food is something of a WONDER. Orders are consistently accurate and ready when promised. Th only room for improvement is that they takeout containers seep and leak over time. Not sure if they are an environmentally friendly material (if so, BRAVO), but they are not as practical for their sauce-heavy vegetable dishes. Hoping they look into this. Support this wonderful restaurant in this part of the Valley. It is a GEM and we are so lucky to have it.
